eLearning

Child Safe training plays an important role in keeping kids in organisations safe from abuse and harm. These online courses were developed with the input of Professor Stephen Smallbone of Griffith University, an expert in understanding and preventing sexual violence and abuse.

  • The Working With Children Check

We offer a suite of free Child Safe eLearning packages, which include:

  • Child Safe eLearning course 
  • SAFESpace eLearning course (for the disability sector)
  • Child Safe eLearning course (NESA endorsed for teachers and educators)
  • SAFESpace eLearning course (for the disability sector) (NESA endorsed for teachers and educators)

If online learning does not suit your needs, or you have a group of people needing to be trained, we also offer face-to-face workshops on the same topics.

The Office of the Children's Guardian is endorsed to provide NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher. 

Our courses meet NESA Standard Descriptor 6.2.2: Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or systems. 

The courses each have a 15 minute introductory module with the remainder of the courses broken into modules that each take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
